New TDA T-shirts will be in this week. Swim suits have been ordered, but will not be here in time for DC meet. Several are available from Bill K. for purchase (see above) and Mark Westergard has four (4) 32 waist to loan if necessary.

There was discussion of adding meet results, links to USMS, Outsports, and IGLA (not individual teams). We would also like to add photos from swim meets and TDA events, addresses/directions to the practice pools, and a Hits counter.

Community Events / Social Committee: (Co-chairs: Peggy Rey and Page Nance)

• TDA Wednesday Night Supper Club: Luby's at Oaklawn and Cedar Springs was chosen as this month's restaurant. If you don't go to practice, still try to make this weekly TDA social event. The dates are Sept. 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4, and 11 at 8:00pm. A new restaurant will be selected at each monthly meeting.

• Pride Parade: September 24 (Page Nance) We are keeping it simple this year. A 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible (Lipstick Red) has been secured for the parade. So far we plan to have banner walkers, 1 car, plus we will carry big water guns to interact with the crowd. Page has registered us and he will be sending out further information this week.
  We will be wearing a TDA tank or T-shirt and khaki shorts.

• AIDS Lifewalk: October 1 (Bill Kritzer) Will start at noon at Lee Park. It will be a different route this year with everyone walking through Neiman Marcus downtown for a total of 4.2 miles. Forms are available from Bill. Our team goal is $5000....START GETTING PLEDGES NOW! Mike Gunning is having a fundraising happy hour September 15, 5:00-8:30pm. Call your friends.

• TDA Banquet/Elections: November 18. Celebration has been reserved for 7:00pm for 20 people.
