Meeting Minutes for June 6, 2001

Location: Tin Star        Call to order: 9:15 PM

President Report: (Tim Kessler)
The team PO box was checked and was mainly filled with Team Dallas mail. Tim will get these items to Jere Becker or whoever is responsible for Team Dallas.

Vice President Report: (Brad Levinson)
No Report... will have other items for the committee reports

Secretary Report: (Larry Mock)
A new roster was sent out last week. Please review for accuracy.

Razzle Dazzle Dallas: Saturday, June 9. TDA will have a booth with team information, T-shirts, tattoos, video, Gay Games information, raffle items, etc. Setup is at 6:30, event at 8:00, and closes at 1:30am. The cost for the booth is $60. We are going to be in a great location, near the Roundup between a beer booth and lube wrestling. Peggy will be scheduling shifts at 6:30, 9:00, and 11:00. Please wear your TDA T-shirt, tank, polo, or twill.

Relays and "starts" practices will be scheduled by Dan....watch your email's for dates and times. The deadline to have all travel, hotel, and swim event information to Larry is June 27.

Tim Kessler has sent an article to run in The Voice and Mike Gunning has submitted a photo. Hopefully it will run the week of or before Toronto. Mike Gunning will call to find out when the article will run.
Website - please take lots of pictures in Toronto so we can add some new pictures to the gallery.

--Yard Sale: We are planning to have our next sale in the spring of 2002. Remember our policy on large items: "If two people can't easily move it.....then we don't want it." We are always collecting items for the sale. Let Brad or Larry know if a pickup is necessary. Items can be stored at Brad's warehouse.
--Individual Sponsors / Supporters: Is the same price as our dues, $30.00 and includes a TDA T-shirt or tank top, TDA pin, and tattoo.
Another TDA Sponsor Drive / Pool party is being planned for July at Mike Gunning and Dwaine Bailey's house. Further information will be out soon.

Next team meeting is Wednesday, July 11, 8:30pm at Cafe Express on McKinney. The team meetings have been changed to take place at Wednesday Night Supper Club since we seem to have a better turnout that night.
