Meeting Minutes for August 8, 2001

Tim suggested we add the TDA member/sponsor application to the website. Everyone thought it was a good idea. Larry will coordinate this with Kent Croyl.

Merchandise Committee:
Brad Levinson (apparel ordering, suits), Bill Kritzer (inventory), Larry Mock (pins, tattoos)
The votes for the new suit for Sydney Gay Games is 6 YES and 3 NO. Nine out of nineteen dues paid members voted. There is a 100 suit order commitment to Turbo, but no certain time frame. Since everyone does not like or agree with the one proposed suit, we are now accepting further design submissions on disc and paper at the September meeting. If none are submitted we will be going with current proposal. We must move forward with this.

We currently have the following TDA items for sale from Bill Kritzer. Checks payable to Team Dallas Aquatics:

We are waiting on The Voice to print the Toronto "follow-up" article submitted by Brad.
Website - give me photos from Toronto so we can add some new pictures to the gallery.
Ad space for The Voice is $317 for a 1/4 page ad with a 4 issue commitment.

--Parade: Page will send out an email to find out who is interested in participating in this years parade.
--Lifewalk: A team social is being planned for Sept. or Oct. at Mike Gunning's to help raise funds for this years walk.

--Yard Sale: We are planning to have our next sale in the spring of 2002. Remember our policy on large items: "If two people can't easily move it.....then we don't want it." We are always collecting items for the sale. Let Brad or Larry know if a pickup is necessary. Items can be stored at Brad's warehouse.
--Individual Sponsors / Supporters: $30.00 and includes a TDA T-shirt or tank top, TDA pin, and tattoo.
The TDA Sponsor Drive / Pool party is August 25 at Mike Gunning and Dwaine Bailey's house. 8pm til midnight
